I reinstall SNMP on our Win2K server and now insight manager shows that server as "Unknown SNMP device".What should I do to fix this problem. I also have the same problem with our new Win2003 server where DHCP was not reinstalled.
Thanks

check the SNMP Configuration of the server...

Windows2003 locks down SNMP by default. you must configure the service to allow communication with both 127.0.0.1 and the remote host you've installed HP SIM / Compaq insight Manager

Also, if you installed the Proliant Support Pack before SNMP, most of the agents were not installed.

Try re-installing the Support Pack.

Have you enabled a trust between your SIM Server and your SIM Clients?
