Compact w/ Expansion Card Delay

iv got a compact ics that i recently added the 8 port station expansion card to. now there is a delay on all sets when you press the line or intercom button of 2 or three seconds before you hear dial tone. is this a software or hardware problem?

Sounds like the line card to me if it's just on CO selection. Does it lag on any other features?

the delay happen on both c.o. lines and intercom calls.

If the stations are working on the expansion, I'd say power down, make sure there are no bent pins in the expansion slot, and then reseat the card.

i will certinaly try that tomrw....just an update.....all stations on the system are affected by the delay. it sounds like a processing error in the ksu to me?
