Communication Manager GUI password Reset

Hello All,

One of our client forget the CM login password. Server model is S8300 with G700 Gateway. Is there any ways to reset the CM password? They dont know the CM version as well. Best guess is in between CM 3.0 or 4. Refer the attached. Any help should be appreciated.

You need Avaya to reset this as they will have access via ASG. Assuming no auth file was installed you -might- be able to get in with the craft login, but that means they never finished the install.

But they DO NOT have an active support. In this case, Avaya support still help? If yes, how to contact them to get a support?

You can open time/material tickets with them. Going direct will be expensive but straight forward. You can also engage an Avaya partner and they can often get the same results for less $$.

Create an Avaya account at

https://support.avaya.com

If you have a SoldTo, provide it during the registration
After that open a ticket looking for a password reset and you'll have an option to choose "unentitled assets" when searching your specific asset to get support on. They should then contact you and you can work it out over the phone with them.
