Everyday I get an email with the following information:

Solstice Backup Savegroup: (alert) Oracle Admin completed, 8 client(s) (opal Failed)
Start time: Tue Jun 7 04:05:00 2005
Clone Start: Tue Jun 7 05:25:38 2005
End time: Tue Jun 7 05:36:14 2005
Automatic cloning of save sets to pool OracleGroup Clone succeeded.

What command I can I use to generate the same information over a span of 1 week, 2 weeks, etc.

Thank you

The savegroup notification defines how to create the savegroup completion report. On UNIX it is a mail to the user root. If you want to collect them, just modify the action filed and save SDOUT to a file. Use other notifications as examples.

I'm new to Legato. Could you please show me where to make the modification.

Don't recall the UNIX GUI. But if you start nwadmin, the notifications should reside under the Customize menu.

Under Customer -- Notifications, I click Create
Now, I don't know what command to place in ACTION box to have it log into a file /var/tmp/backup.test
