Jan 11, 2005 Thread starter #4 doctorski Technical User Feb 18, 2004 22 GB Hi Comtec17, I am creating our Year End tapes, but the images needed were previously duplicated on the night those backups were performed. I normally have number of duplications set to 2, so until the first set of dupes expire, I couldnt create a 3rd copy. I changed the setting to 3 to be able to do this. I don't have vault, so have written my own duplication suite. One of these failed last night on one image, and was re-run. However I had forgotten to set max copies back to 2, so it reduplicated all the images previously done, not just the single failed image. Hope this makes sense, it does to me but that doesnt always mean anything ! Upvote 0 Downvote
