Yup, Thats What I need...

A command line script to initialize multiple tape media, info included: slot number and sequence...

what can you do for me?
 
It doesn't sound like you need a script. Checkout the man page or documentation for the nsrjb command. It should give you everything you need.

hmmm.... thanks i'll look into it, i thought the script would be more usefull to train someone who does not have a very technical background, plus we would be initializing 12 tapes at a time...
