Combo Dropdown Arrow Size

Is there any way i can make the dropdown arrow of a combo box bigger?

I am currently using a label with an onclick cboMyCombo.dropDown event over the top but when you select an item from the combo, the combo box appears above the label. Any ideas appreciated.

Why not use a listbox and a text box to replace the combo box bit?

[blue]Not without making it look out of porportion with the textbox[/blue] part of the control. You could adjust the overall size of the control up to the point [blue]porportionality[/blue] with the rest of the form [blue]begins to fails.[/blue]

Unless another tipster has something, I doubt you'll make any headway in this area . . . .

Think Frink is on the right track. Make a text box and a lable that has the arrow. On the click of the arrow, hide the textbox and show a previously hidden list box...

... Just a thought.

I actually created a button to pull down the combo box on_click, I can just about position it to look natural! I just wish things like this were easier...

Question for 696796

I can see how a button click can be used to access the combobox dropdown ...

me!comboname.setfocus
me!comboname.dropdown

... however I can't seem to cover the existing arrow on the combobox ... where is the Bring Object to Foreground function ... in design view the button is in the foreground but in run mode it is behind the CB.
