Hello,

I have a grid with several combo boxes. On one of them, pressing the down arrow key does not change the combo box's value and the focus moves to the next record down in the grid. On the other combo box, pressing the down arrow key changes the value in the combo box to the next value in the list and the focus does NOT move to the next record down in the grid.

What property or setting determines the combo box's behavior?

Dave

HI

I feel you have the key. You can jot down the properties of these two combo boxes and compare the properties.
I am sure you will be aware, that in the property box, bottom text are, you can right click and choose (click) on Non-Default properties only, to quickly check only properties changed.

In general Combo boxes can be Drop-Down combo or Drop-Down list. These two could make a difference. This is thru style property.

Then the point Enable Incremental search or diable the incremental search.

PS:

I have on box that is one character wide. Is there any way to make the box appear without it's own arrow so the user can see it's value when browsing the grid.

Thanks Again,

Dave
