I have put in the appropriate options in the Port Settings Window:
BPS 1200
Data bits: 7
Parity: odd
Stop Bits : 1
Flow Control: Hardware, then pressed <enter>[/blue], <esc>!<enter>[/blue], and <esc>CNQc<enter>[/blue]which selects compressed data format.

However, once the COM 2 starts receiving data and projecting it through to Hyperterminal, I can't get it to display in a sequential, downward sprawling list of each measurement on a seperate line. Instead, only one line of continuously changing data appears. I need a full record of each measurement displayed in a downward list for data analyzing purposes. How can I get this? kegs98

Properties --> Settings tab. Click on ASCII setup button. In the ASCII receiving section, check the box that says "Append line feeds to incoming line ends"
