Ok, I admit it: I'm color-blind. Not completly; I can see most colors, it's just the red-green-brown ones I get confused.

Now the problem: My pointy-haired boss wants the background color to match the company color. The help just says "The BackColor property contains a numeric expression that corresponds to the color used to fill a control's or section's interior".

If I could find out what the color is, I could ask the Marketing dept what the hex # for the color is and match it.

Anyone know how to find the hex # for the background color?

Thanks.

I'm using custom colors, but I still can't match the color.

I've asked other people to look for me, but still can't get an exact match. If I could find out that the hex #CC9900 equals the color number 360634 in Access, for example, then I could get the hex number from Marketing and use the conversion to match the color exactly.

ok then, how about opening up your company logo in ms paint

then use the pick colour tool, so you now have your company colour on your brushin paint

now goto colours > edit colours > define custom colours

now since you got the colour on your brush it should tell you the RGB mix and hue etc, then just copy those values into access
