Color Separations

I am working in Illustrator 10 on PC. I am trying to work with the color separations feature, something I haven't used since college. Is there some where I can get ppd files for screen printing separations. I have been searching for the ppd files that came with Illustrator and that hasn't been very helpful...

Or, should the printer have a ppd file that would work with the color separations feature.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Almost all PPD's like laserwriter or generic do allow you to do seperations, it needs to be a Postscript Printer Driver though.

Just go to the xerox, HP etc etc websites, they will have PPD's that you can download. There are soooo many different ones, I'm surprised you havn't fallen over one walking down the street
