Color question 2

I am developing an application showing traffic in and out. What color do you prefer for showing traffic in and out? I would like to use different colors but is it any standard for that?

One program I use gives you a pallet to choose color but the default is Green for both in and out then yellow for 25% to 50% usage and then pink for over 50% usage.

In MRTG the default color is green for inbound, blue for outbound. But I think you can create your own style
