Hello all,

I have a voice mail pro set up to LEAVE MAIL for at collective group extension after hours. The problem is, I notice while person is dumped into the voice mail, all of the extensions still ring. Is there a way to stop the collective phones from ringing after the call has been sent to voice mail?

Thank you!

this should not need any special setup on the VM Pro
simply tick the VM box in the group & calls will go to the mailbox (the mailox of the originaly called group if this is a Fallback group).

The extns should not be continuing to ring, unless Avaya have sneaked in an upgrate to enable mailboxes to be intercepted which would actualy be quite usefull.

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

In voice mail pro I have it set up if it meets the condition (after 5pm), I point it to LEAVE MAIL and the extension I use is the group extension. I tested it and it does transfer and the voice mail picks up, but while I'm listening to the greeting and leaving the message, the phones are still ringing.

Thanks for your help.

So you route the calls through VMPro into the group and you want to direct it to the leave mail start point out of business hours?

Can you share a screenshot of the call flow and your leave mail start point?
