Code to append data from oracle connected table

I am currently trying to append data into my local access database table from oracle connected database. I have linked those table into my local microsoft access database but when i tried using append query for microsoft access, it seems like it need a few hours just to gather a few lines of data. Is there any faster ways. thanks

Thanks Remou for the advice. I apologize that i didn't make it clear in my first post. The SQL or code is exactly what i want. I don't know where to start from. Will really appreciate a complete code. I learn a lot from this forum. Thanks.
