Code or Macro to spellcheck a text or memo field?

Could anyone provide a code or macro to spellcheck a text or memo field?

Hi Johh,

Thank you for your response. When I entered the code you provided the following message appeared in a dialog box "The spelling checker can't proceed; form data is not updatable." Currently on the database all I have set up are the tables, and several forms, for which I have not set-up any relationships, or created any queries at this time. I'm not sure if that that would have anything to do with it. I'd appreciate any help!

Try pressing F7 when in form view mode; this should trigger the spelling checker and see if that can update a spelling.

In that case, the problem is caused by the data structure under the form. If it is based upon a query involving one or more joins or a group by or a subquery, then it will not be updateable.

No, I'd prefer that they were put on this site in the appropriate access forums here. That way, if I'm away for whatever reason (although I have no plans to do so for the moment) you are more likely to get a rapid response because other members will be able to respond.
