Coaxial input problem with AL m9700

I just recieved my alienware aurora m9700. It came with a coaxial input, but nothing fits. The screw ones are just simply to large, and it seems to be a different diamater than the f connectors and again, they just dont fit. I'm not sure if anyone else out there has had this problem or if it is just me. My only option seems to be to turn my cable into compusite and then turn the video into s-video and the audio into a headphone jack. I would REALLY rather not go through all of that, but if i must i must. Please help

Have you talked to Alienware about this? That's where I would start.
