Hi,

I recently installed a CMS V12 with 1 acd on it and everything worked fine.

I just checked the time on the CMS and it is 1 hour infront of the S8700?

I've checked the timezone and this is set to WET and checked the /cms/env/clock/clock_diff and set this to Zero.

Any CMS guru's out there with any ideas?

Thanks.

Are you refering to the time displayed on the CMS menus/Supervisor client?

Check the /cms/pbx/acd1/spi.err log and see what time is being sent to the CMS
First timestamp is Solaris time and the second is the Switch (S8300) time

Thu Jun 17 11:54:09 [58] PBX DATAX 12:00:00 06/17/04 00003 calls ======

If the switch time is correct, check the system setup --- Storage intervals and see is a switch offset has been applied as you have already checked the clock_diff file

not sure if you can actually link cms to s8700 time, but we just ran into an issue with time on our cms and s8700. the time on the "switch" was correct, but the cms report was showing 1 hr off. Come to find out the cms was getting the time from the s8700 server, not the "switch". That is to say we had locations set up within the phone system, while all the phones and what not were correct the actual time on the server was on another time zone, throwing off our reports.
