Cms unable to do SSH

Hi all

We have an issue with Avaya cms
We have avaya cms on esxi 6.0

We have our cms admin backup scheduled to run on every month 10th

And our CMS backup type is NFS
So whenever the NFS paths gets unmounted the CMS serevr gets hung and it won't let login via ssh.

And eventually we need to restart the VM.

Any idea why it refuces ssh connection when filesystem hungs
