I have CMS R16 that I can get CMSADM backup to run perfectly to my NFS drive no problem.
Whenever I run the Full Maintenance backup it just sits there saying:Checking volume ...
I can look at the Linux drive and it never shows anything.
Here is what the back.log file shows
$ tail -f /cms/maint/backup/back.log
state: 1
check space for CMS backup
Needed for backup: 4716KB
state: 19
state: 1
status: Checking volume ...
state: 1
error:
status: Last backup cancelled 03/15/2012 10:58:21.
state: 0
I have left it to try over night with nothing happening.
My only option is to login as root and use kill command to stop the process.
Any ideas welcomed
