Hi Can you please advise . I know that the CMSADM backup must be done out of hours to avoid losing any cms data . Does the maintenance backup ( Full/Incremental ) have to be done out of hours also , if I do this backup during opening hours will i risk losing any data .

Thanks

Its best to these during the night save the risk of losing data. You can schedule these to run at a set time each night usually within an hour of closing is the best time.
But check if any of your other systems such as a WFM tool is dependant on CMS data being available.

You shouldn't lose any data during a maintenance backup, but it does take up a lot of the processing speed, so you may experience slower updates and such. It's usually recommended that you complete it during slow periods or after hours.

The maintenance backups are usually scheduled on a timetable to run at night on it's own.
