I have an S8700 with a number of G700's containing S8300 LSP's in our network.
I wish to add another G700 with LSP at a remote location but am a little confused regarding what licensing I have to pay for.
I have plenty of spare RTU's on the S8700 so do not need to purchase anymore user licenses there. Do I need to purchase user licenses to reside on the LSP when it goes into LSP mode.
I was under the impression (and looking at my other LSP's) that these duplicate all of the RTU's on the S8700 but are then restricted to 450 simultaneous IP station registrations.
Is anybody able to clear this up for me?
Many thanks,
Ninj'
