I have two Win2K servers that needs to replicate data between each other. Similar to a cluster configuration. Win2K Server A has two NICs (10.12.12.1, 192.168.10.1) and Win2K Server B has one NIC (192.168.10.1).
The 1st NIC on Server A is connected to the internet (10.12.12.1) and the 2nd NIC (192.168.10.1) is connected to Server B (192.168.10.1). Server A and Server B have the same address bc if Server A fails then Server B will be active. Assuming the clustering software works fine, how can I get server A to copy data to server be when both have the same IP address? Is thare any IP route statement involve on my servers?
I know there are otehr solutions, but I'm looking for this type of solution under a weird circumstance at my work.
Thanks,
Nicole
