Hi All -
I'm pretty sure I know what needs to be done, but just want to double check...

I have to take a 3524 out of our stack, it is currently a cluster member. Tried just taking it out & all switches after this bad switch cluster member stopped communicating. Once the switch was plugged back in, all communication started back up.

I'm sure what needs to be done is I have to take the bad switches entry out of the cluster members, but I just wanted to make sure that is it.

once I take that bad cluster member out ( Cluster member 1 ), do I have to then rename cluster member 2 to 1 & so on?

Thanks for your help.

Remove the member 1 from the cluster, nothing else i think.

With me not taking the member out of the cluster before taking the switch out, was that the cause of the communication stopping? If not, what else could it be?
