I have setup my server cluster, and everything seems fine, but when I check in Active Directory, I dont see the cluster in AD. The funny is that I can ping the cluster, i can do everything that I need to do witht he cluster, BUT it isent identified in AD at my DC. Any ideas.

And idea to pass for review, could MSDTC cause a problem where the AD cant see the cluster?

Rob W.

No, MSDTC is a local service and doesn't talk to AD.

Give the machine account time to populate through AD.

I gave it a wait of 4 days, but it still dosent show up on AD. Im confused that since you have log in on the domain to setup on the cluster, the cluster "would" show up on the AD Users and Computers after a few minutes/hour. But with this setup, it still hasnt shown in AD. Any ideas?

Not that I'm looking in AD I don't see any of my virtual servers listed in AD. I supose that does make sense as they aren't actual objects just DNS entries.
