can anyone tell me the minimum software version of an etrali pbx that works with cls and is it CTI or SMDR

It should work with every version of Etradeal up to version 22, with Real-Time CDR.

I have a cust that wants to connect CLS with vers 33 does this work o.k

I don't know. But since Etrali and Nice have a strong partnership, I guess that, if version 33 is not supported yet, it is going to be soon. (I haven't found anything on Etrali's website).
BTW, if 33 is a newest version of Etrali's PBX, then it is going to be supported from Nice's version 8.8, but probably not from earlier versions... We'll see.

A driver that will work with v.33 will be released soon (January/February), according to information I received yesterday.
