I am using the "Start the following program on connection" in my RDP config. When the user closes the application the terminal server session stays open. Is there a way to log off the session when the user closes the appliation? Otherwise they have to disconnect, not log off the session

yes there is a setting in Terminal Services Configureation Manager that allows you to specify a tie to close disconnected sessions.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Thanks Mark...I was aware to end a disconnected session. What I am looking to do is to log off the session when the application closes. Just as you would if you were to run a Terminal Session and do Start - Log off.

I believe your users just need to exit the program via File, Exit. (depending on program menus of course).

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
