I am using a Clipper application on a Novell Netware 6 server and all works fine. I have DOS, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP clients.
I do not know if Netware 6.5 has changed, but I would doubt it.
Well, NW6 does support web based clients, but not exclusively.
As long as your server is configured with IPX support (not just IP) and has the bindery context enabled then Dos-type clients should be able to connect.
JockMullin, you're exactly right. We've used IPX in the past, however since upgrading to Novell 6.5, I've switched strictly to IP and using Windows Client for connectivity. From my understanding, both IPX and IP can coexist on a server.
