Hey!
I'm new to Premiere v7, but I'm pretty sure I know most of what I'm doing. But this has me stumped.
I have edited my clips, zooming all the way in to make sure the beginning and end is exactly on the frame I want it to start/stop on.
When I render it in MS Avi, the completed avi has my clips showing as much as 5 seconds of video after I have it stopping.
I've tried cutting off extra frames (to the detriment of my sync with audio), but I get the same problem.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
(Oh, and any tweaks or tips on performance would help, too!)
Thanks!
Eric

Are you by any chance apply transitions between clips on a single track? If so, Premiere will add extra frames (handles) to generate the overlap required for the transition period.

You should not get this problem if you use straight cuts.

It is also ,more precise to judge scene changes by stepping through frame by frame in the Programme Monitor window than using timeline picons which, in Premiere Pro, do not show individual frames unless each clip is itself only a single frame. The closest to single frame you get with normal clips is about 3 for 4.
