Hi guys,

i created a domain called for example: layers.com
Their pop3/smtp is mail.layers.com. for some reason non of them can access the mail server. I tried to access it from outside their network and it's fine. Can someone please point me to the right direction. do i need to make an entry in the forwarding to let access through?

please help.

Thanks.

Well, can you ping mail.layers.com from inside? Sounds like either a DNS issue, or a port issue @ the firewall.

If their internal domain name is also layers.com, you'll have to add an A record to your DNS for mail pointing to the internal IP address of the mail server.

it's an outside mail service.
