Server setup: Exchange 5.5 sp3 on Windows 2000 Server (sp4) w/Active Directory (PDC) running DNS and WINS services.
We use Terminal Services (windows 2003 server) in our small office. Each user connects to the Terminal Server and utilizes MS Outlook 2003 to retrieve and send mail (MS Exchange Services, not pop3). Everything has been working great up until this morning when we are no longer are able to send emails thru the 2003 server. Below is the email that immediately pops up when attempting to send an email to an outside address.
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'brian' on 2/12/2004 8:16 PM
The recipient name is not recognized
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=Herringgroup;l=CS1-040213021538Z-28
MSEXCH:MSExchangeMTA:HGDALLAS:CS1
The thing that is throwing me off is the fact that if I setup the outlook express directly on the exchange server, I am able to send and receive mail fine. Also, the fact that when I send a message on the 2003 server, the undeliverable email, from the system administrator, appears almost immediately after pressing the send button.
Thank you so much for your help.
