I have a Client that has CSNW on his computer that fails to launch for unknown reason. The event viewer says that the service could not launch. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the service and even removed the NIC card and reinstalled the service and still will not launch this service. The Computer cannot see any Novell client. I am curious on how to resolve this. Is it possible to load the service from the Professional CD instead and How? I am leading to believe that there is something wrong with the software. Has anybody had this problem and were able to get this resolved without putting Novell client on the machine. Any comments or recomendations will be tried.

Hi,

Is the PC being used to connect to a Novell server for file, print and related serverices ? If this is so you may have more luck using the Netware client for NT/2000 4.80 SP3 (providing the Novell network is using Zen 3). I've had this on test for a good three months and it's quite stable

Thank you, I will try that out. Yes users use this for file and print on novell. I an just curious If I am going to have this problem with all 2000 pro Dell machines using CSNW. I hope this is not a bug that Microsoft has not been aware of.
