I have a Cisco Pix 506 FW Version 6.3 (4) How can I monitor my clients internal bandwidth usage by IP? I am trying to track down who is streaming something here and slowing down my network.
Well, in a router you can do ip route-cache and sh ip route-cache, or NBAR and top-talkers. This link shows how to block stuff (they call it NBAR, and I don't know why...)...
You can send your Pix syslogs to a kiwi syslog server and then use firegen to analyze your logs. The fastest thing to do seeing that you aren't willing to learn something new would be to replace your 506 with an ASA5505. You can display the top ten sources and top then destinations in the ASDM.
