client access printer session

hello, i have a dell inspiron 1100 laptop with a dell a920 printer attached. i have an as/400 client access session setup for the display and the printer on this laptop. when i send a print job to this printer session i can hear the printer start to feed the paper then nothing happens.

any ideas???

I will ask the dumb question,,, you have responded to the message que, that the propoer paper, is in the machine, and the AS400, knowws the printer is ready to print?

sorry for such a basic question... i found out that inkjets can't use host print transform and that's the only way i've ever set up a printer session before. turned that off and it started working fine.
