What determines when the CLID is displayed?
one Mics with PRI on a dms100 switch displays the clid info after the first ring
a second MICs attached to a GTD5 doesn't get the display until the call is answered.
Is this a Norstar programing thing or C.O. programming .

Are the Mics programmed the same, same software level? On the older Mics you had to program one extension for auto answer on the newer software phone set to appear and ring, caller ID set to yes on that line and caller ID set to yes on station.

On a PRI all the info comes on channel 24.
On pots usually comes between ring one and two, the first ring to wake up the equipment.

both systems are identical mics 7.1 pri 6port combo card .
the only difference i know of is the CO switch

I talked to the Telco programmer and she said the programming is done properly on her end.
and even though the GTD5 and DMS 100 are different switches neither one has an option to send delayed Calling Party Name Display.
and they suggest that the problem must be in My equipment.
I do have the whole KSU that was removed from the OLD office complete with PRI and 6port card.
Some time after working hours i will fire it up , change a couple of target lines to reflect the new incoming DID's , plug it into the new PRI and see if it works the way it did in the other town.
that should prove whether it is the Telco or me.
I might have to wait untill the weekend.
