Hi

We have had a new CS1000 installed recently and have just switched over from our old Nortel Meridian system. The new system is all VOIP, from the desk phones (mostly 1110s) to the outgoing phone lines.

The system is going to be running the phones at multiple sites across the UK. The problem is that each site has its own range of DDI numbers and we could like to be able to send the CLID info for each site depending on where it is. At the moment our telecoms provider is just sending out the main switchboard number for one of our sites (the wrong one).

We suspect that the telecoms provider needs to do something at their end first but I would like make sure that our end is setup properly.

At the moment we have two DDI ranges, but this will expand soon:

DDI Range One: 0113 382 xxxx - where xxxx is the extension number
DDI Range Two: 01296 63 xxxx - where xxxx is the extension number

This is one entry I have in the CLID table:

ENTRY 3
HNTN 0113
ESA_HLCL 0113382
ESA_INHN YES
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 0113382
DIDN YES
DIDN_LEN 4
HLOC 0113382
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN

Does it look OK? and if so, do we need to change anything anywhere else on the phone system to make the CLID work?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched for answers on here and on google but haven't found anything that helps.

ENTRY 3
HNTN 0113 <-- may need to drop the 0
ESA_HLCL 382
ESA_INHN YES
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 382
DIDN YES
DIDN_LEN 4
HLOC
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN

that would work better, also the entries in the ESA bit mean that you will be sending the CLI of the set for emergency calls that are defined in ESA (LD 24)

Thanks for that, I've adjusted the CLID entry, I just need to wait for our telecoms provider to do it's thing :(
