CLID on I/C route

Hi all,
I wonder if someone can help me. I manage an Option 61c, which has a BT ITS trading platform connected via 2 MCDN's. The ITS system send 7 digits to the display of a Meridian phone, and I would like to assign name to the incoming calls from the ITS extensions to the Meridian, which are DSC's from the Meridian. The Meridian is set as Master on both routes.

So I did the following:-

New-
IDC
DCNO 3
SDID NO
IDGT CDGT
2271802 1802

Then in LD 16

IDC = YES,
DCNO = 3
to both MCDN pipes

Then in LD 95:-

REQ NEW
TYPE name
CUST 0
CPND_LANG
PAGE
DN
DCNO 3
IDC 2271802
CDGT 1820
NAME Cliff Test
XPLN 22
DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST

But it don't work, all I see is H2241802 on a Meridian display, what have I missed ?

print cpnd in ld 95 thier might be a prompt, but to get a name on an inbound call the far ends needs to sent it. from a cpnd block on the far end. if your pri had nd2 you'll see a name. ld 96 enl msgo x on that d will show you the name that is being sent

Thanks for the quick response John, The distant end is unable to send name, that's why I was trying do do it in the IDC table. I thought, (maybe I'm wrong) that the Meridian would see the I/C digits 2271802, convert it in LD 49 to 1802, and then apply the name programmed in LD95. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

i've tried to do that same work around, but the switch applies names to ext, if the idc was converting to a dn, it seems like it should..

Check LD 16. There is a DNAM prompt (display IDC name). Try that.
