click in property window field highlights all text to the right,

When i click in a field in the properties window I cant insert cursor without all text to the right being selected.

clicking on the 'u' of the control name "txtuser_id" will result in all the text 'user_id' being highlighted.
I want to be able to click on the 'u' and be able to use backspace or delete key or any other key.

This happened once before but I can't remember what I did to resolve it.

i've had this happen a few times and i have to close access and then reopen.
