Hi All,

I have a customer who basically has his mobile twinned to his extension however when someone calls him, the CLI is not passed through to his mobile and shows the generic office number.
I have checked all settings as well as making sure the 'send original calling party information for Mobile Twinning' was ticked. This guy is adamant that this used to work and he could see the full DDI of colleagues within the office come to his mobile.. Is this an easy fix or am I barking up a complete wrong tree.

Many Thanks

Did they change service providers? Some service providers don't allow it, others needs to specifically allow it.

My personal extension started doing this out of the blue. All other extensions don't do it. I haven't had the time to look too deep into it yet.

What software release?

What type of trunks?

Make a log using monitor to look what number the IPO is sending

It should have no problems sending the full DDIs of the colleagues if they are on the PBX.

If you can send an outside callers CLI to the mobile is another question, that depends on what trunks you have and if the service provider allows it.

trace the call with Monitor only the ISDN tab enabled then you see what the system sends out. That way you can find out if it is a system problem or if the provider has stopped supporting sending a caller ID that is not on the PRI

Thanks for all the input guys,

I don't know if its a 'trying it on' scenario but I was able to pull an old .cfg to see how this guy was set up (as he then had issues with the hardware)and apparently this then stopped after the 'issues' however the setup of his extension has not changed nor have the PRI's ... but I will monitor it to see whats happening as the next step.

I experienced the same issue. Was working fine until Windstream made some kind of change. Their reply was if it was working before, it wasn't supposed to. (Go figure) Seems they will not pass a number that the customer doesn't own.
Might also check to see if provider has made change and that you still have control of CLI on outgoing.

What I do know is the following:

if he calls me direct from deskphone I can see his assigned DDI, therefore the system is producing outgoing CLI.
If a colleague calls direct to him within the office environment, he can see their assigned DDI come up on his deskphone.

When Twinning is activated and colleague calls... Main office DDI is shown on Mobile. It seems like the mobile provider is not recognising the digit manipulation all of a sudden. Even when he is called directly to his mobile the Main DDI is being shown.

The main DDI is shown if the serviceprovider blocks the CLI you're sending.

Do a default monitor trace with ISDN L3 Rx/Tx and you'll see what you are sending. Westi already told you this.

Be sure it's allowed in you country, here in belgium it's not allowed.

In Germany it is a feature you have to pay for. Then you can test it with a short code like 999N\Dial\NSi9876543210\<Limegroup>

Then you can see with a simple outbound call if the provider changes the number or not.
