Has anyone come across the problem of CLI not being displayed.
We have been heard that if you change the caller display type in the extension tab to FSKA this should resolve the problem.

Does it work every time ?

Has anyone got any feed back on this

FSKA didn't work for me, nor did FSKB, FSKC or FSKD.
My supplier says they are going to send this up the line to Avaya and interquartz.I am not holding my breath.

What software version are you running - not sure whether any are different for this handset. Also have you tried just one handset or a number of them? It could be a duff handset if its just the one your playing with.

We have just had our IPO system installed; which consisted of an IPO406; 1xDT30, 3xPhone 30's (and a loan ATM16). We got 75 Interquartz 9335 phones (in addition to 20x2030's) (You know who we are IPGuru!) - 30 of them work correctly out of the box, the other 45 don't display CLID correctly (sometimes they work, other times they don't).

What's the difference between the ones that work and the ones that don't? Well, all the phones that work have a sticked on the bottom of them saying "Version 2 software".

Our supplier has agreed to swap out all non-Version 2 handsets with Version 2 handsets to resolve the problem.

Assuming that these are new handsets that you are having problems with, then I would speak to your vendor.

As we are in the UK, I believe that the default CLI type of our locale is UK20.

NB: The software version is the version of Interquartz software installed on the handset, NOT on the IPO.

Hope this helps

Alan

Thanks for your replies, I will have to check all the handsets as some of them show CLI and some of them don't.

I have changed a few phones to FSKA and will monitor them.

I will post any results/progress

Cheers
Dave

I see that Avaya has at long last found a fix for the problem with the Interquartz handsets.

Unfortunately, TekTip 92 only applies to the Avaya branded ones, and not necessarily the Interquartz generic ones.

Anyone know if Interquartz will upgrade existing software verion 2 handsets?

Interquartz will upgrade this providing you log as a fault with your supplier

serial numbers underneath must fall inline with this tech tip 92 if branded or not.
