I am having problems with my tie trunk line connecting our 61C to an 11C. The tie line went out yesterday and the office with the 11C could not receive calls from the office using the 61C. I checked out the 61C and found that I have red lights lit on both E&M digital trunk cards. I also have my QPC775F Clock controler card red light.
Other card with red lights on are the dual priority card NT5D12AG02 and the QPC775F clock controler card.
My question des anyone know how I can test this trunk and to enable any of these cards? The cards are all on the 61C.

Thanks for our input.

I solve the problem. I could not get the trunk to become idle so after using working with LD 60 and LD 96 I was able to get the trunks back up and working. The other issues were due to inproper signaling. Thanks again fr the input.

a liitle late, but remember. a red alarm means i don't see layer 1, copper. it could be open out, or a bad card. usually red is not in your switch. a yellow alarm means i see layer 1 but can't get ack reply from the far end. a loop back plug back to the switch from the most distant point you can get to, should come up green, d should estblish withen a couple of minutes, then rls wronge mode. that put thes problem outside your switch room... the lcnt command in load 60, will help with the type if outage..
