Clearing form item

Hi, when i select an item from a list on a form and submit the form to another page then go back to the previous page by selecting the back button i can see what item i selected on the list still. How can i clear this so when i go back - nothing is selected?

Have you tried creating a clear() function which does what you need and is called on the BODY tag's ONLOAD event?

You may have a situation with firefox...it seems to keep the form fields selected
