I was wondering if there is a simple way to
not use clear passwords when setting up pop on
exchange server outlook client. I set up a sniffer and noticed I can see passwords on user accounts. I have set up
ssl on my web access. But was wondering it there was
a simple way to set up somthing similar on pop and
smtp without disabling normal communication with
ongoing mail from other domains. On a side note is there
any exploits on port 25, 110, 143, 443 that I should worry
about on exchange

Thanks Jeff

CBC4U,

Did you ever get your problem resolved? I am inquiring about the same thing, and would like to know what the required steps are to implement SSL for POP3 users, and what if any difference that makes for IMAP clients?

Thanks,
Rob
