Class of Service Mnemonics 3

I am "relatively" new to programming my Meridian Option 11c PBX, and considering I have no "formal" training, I think I've gotten to be pretty good.

Does anyone out there have or know of any guides or/and books (other than the manuals which came with the switch), that define and explain the various mnemonics - especially in LD 11 / 20 - inlcuding the mnemonics in the Class of Service (CLS) settings?

Keep in mind, I am not looking to go to a GUI based PBX interface like Call Pilot or any of that. For now, just want to stay with the dumb terminal method.

The Software Input/Output guide is the best source because it breaks it down by the loads and shows all of the possible responses to the prompt in the alphabetical list of prompts section in each load.

here's a short list of the ones that are not default, that i use on almost every new phone.

HTA hunt allowed
FNA forward no answer allowed
lna last number redial allowed, (just press the dn key twice)
IRA incoming ringing line preference allowed
hfa handsfree allowed (default on newer rls)
MWA message waiting allowed
SFA secondary forwarding allowed, numbers forwarded to that set will follow the forward on that set

on an analog set notice, LPA, turns on a lamp and removes stutter dial tone.. you can not have stutter dial tone on a digital set... not all you need to know but maybe it can help.. ld 11 will keep you busy for a day or two on class alone, if you can stay awake.. any feature you need, just ask

I can relate with Jakatz. I would like to have a book that familiarizes me with other topics than basic MAC's. It's nice to have online documentaion like GHTrouts page, but I still think that there's no substitue for a training book like they give you at Global Knowledge class.
I have no problem using the input/output to look up system messages and errors, but what I would like to see are books that teach you the concepts of things like NARS/BARS, Building Routes, The ins and outs of Customer Data Blocks, and other things. If any of you gurus were to write a book I bet it would be a hugely succesful seller.....because there are tons of things that a technician can only learn while setting up a PBX from scratch.....and they don't get a chance to do these things all of the time. If there was book that you could refer to in plain English, it would be great.
I find it strange that I can go to Barnes and Noble and buy detailed books on how to configure and work with a Cisco router, but there seem to be no books on working with a Meridian switch.

read the cisco book, it pays better.. i've thought about a web page for just that reason, but time is always short
