Clan Connection problem

Im anm having problems with connection of new clan card 799c , i have ip address added and am on the 17 port of the card and everything looks good excepct when i status link it shows resetting and always stays ther i was told i needed a tn771 pack to correct this . has anyone seen this problem . i have a version 11 switch by the way

Have you assigned the data module (type ethernet)? Did you add the entries in the ip-services table? If you do a 'get ethernet <slot>' what does it tell you ablut the LAN speed & duplex?

yes i have added the data module and when i check ip services i see that it is connected at 10mbps at half duplex and i have a link light on my 799 card and my hub.but i am unable to ping inside or outside the switch
