We are running an old version of citrix (1.0) on Win Term Serv 4.0. When I setup the ICA connection to connect to the name of the citrix machine I get the "citrix not accepting connections" error message. If I use the IP address of the server in the ICA client it connects fine. Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

You need to add your servers ip address to the server location. Because your using an old version of Citrix, you can get browser issues where you can't find the server by name but, if you add the ip address into the server location, you will get to access Citrix by the server name.

However, I'd consider creating a published application for the desktop and disable connecting to the server by it's name!

Cheers,
Carl.

Hey Carl,

Thanks for the reply and insight. This seemed to do the trick.

Regards,
Brian
