We have 5 Metaframe FR3 servers in one farm with each server hosting about 30 connections each. The server Hardware is HP DL380 R4s with Dual 3.6 processors (Hyperthreaded), 4 GBs of RAM, 192 MB Write Back Cache Enablers, mirrored 36 GB (10K RPM) drives with a 3rd drive set up as a the paging file. Various clients connect from Windows 95 (basically dumb terminals) to launch published apps and desktops, Wyse Terminals, XP desktops and notebooks. We experience a lot of calls on slowness issues switching between apps and when launching Lotus Notes, switching bewtween emails, and replying to all. The Notes server is the same basic config as the Citrix Servers hardware wise. We run Notes 5.0.11 on the server but about 1/3 of all locally installed Notes clients are at 5.0.6. We have reduced network traffic a lot by eliminating unecessary crap and see no bottle necks on the Citrix Servers or Notes servers, and file servers. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas what could be causing these slowness issues? Thanks.
