Citrix Managment Console

Hiya All,

I have a customer using Citrix XPa system. In the CMC (Citrix Managment Console) under the Applications it show 6 people in Word 97.

If you go to the Server link and then select the individual server name, then processes it shows 25+ users in Word.

It is Citrix XP with FR3 installed on a Windows 2000 server running SP3.

Does any one have any ideas?

Im sure that I was told on my Citrix training course never to rely on the Apllications screen and always go by the processes. Is that right?

Are you running desktops as well as published apps? When you go to applications, it will tell you everyone that is running that application as a publsihed app. If someone is running word in a desktop session, it will not show up in the applications area, you will have to view it through processes.

This is by design, it's not an error. When you're viewing applications under the "applications" container, you only see published apps.
