Citrix license error 1

HI All,
I have installed Citrix at my firm.. I have no prior experience with Citrix so please bear with me!!
We have installed the Citrix Metaframe XP edition and I have put in the server license (and activated it via the web).. there is also a client connection license but I can't seem to put it in in the console screen.
When I connect, I get an error "The system was not able to aquire a Citrix Product License. The IMA service may not be running...."
I guess it has to do with the client connection license but I don't know what to do with it. Any ideas folks???
 
You need the User License pack as well as the connection pack as well as the license for XP. To add in the licenses, just fire up the Citrix Management Console, right click on license, and add the license(s). After adding them in, you also need to activate them. It's a horrible process, and definitely not very straight forward. It's made even worse by the Microsoft licensing requirements as well. Believe it or not, it's actually easier now than it once was. Yup. Honest.

Anyhow, I highly recommend getting yourself a copy of the "CitrixEbook" from realtimepublishers.com - go to It's free and covers a lot of this stuff in a lot more depth than I could go into here - plus it has pictures... ;-)

It was a stupid mistake.. my assistant who read out the license mistook a S letter with 8!!! ARRGH!! Can't get the help these days!!
