Hi there,

My HP server have built-in 2 network cards, in which only 1 of them being used now.

My service provider told me that don't enable both NIC & use the "NIC teaming" features, as Citrix can't handle it.

Just wondering if that's true or not?

Many thanks!

Thx MJ, a star for you!

works okay as MJ alreadsy told. We have 10 DL360G2 machines as citrix server all teaming enabled. works fine

Hi Robert,

Thanks for giving me further confidence! ;-)

Hi Robert & MJ,

I read thru the Compaq docuemnt for the nic-teaming settings, it said when possible, SLB should be the best option.

As per my understanding, SLB is switch dependable, if I'm using some small brand switch (unmanaged), can it support SLB?

Many thanks!

Hi Zacca,

Just a passing comment....

How can someone answer your question?

Cheers,
Carl.

I've used this as well w/o problems, but will admit that it's much better and pretty inexpensive to use a 1000Mb Ehternet Card & Gigabit Switch or switch with a GBIC slot, as you get 5 times the bandwidth as a teamed 100Mb connection.
