Citrix Clientname problem 1

Hi,

I have a Citrix MPS4e farm and I am running some software that requires a predictable return to the %clientname% variable as part of the authentication process.

At the moment I am getting random characters such as WI_Her_Jtm7dU5ZT5DXT.

In my previous Citrix Farms using this app I have either had the clientname as DOMAINNAME-USERNAME and would like something similar.

Any ideas?

Setting the Clientname when you install the ICA client makes no difference.

There is a Web Interface setting. That allows using client name instead of something completely different.

Thats what I thought, however I have gone through the whole option list for Web Interface 4.

Any ideas?

Its actually an option in PN where you can disable dynamic client naming. It is probably an option in other clients too. Sorry to mislead with the first post.

It actually seems to be with Workspace Control...

No config option in PN or the web client seem to change anything!
